Happy Thanksgiving form all of us at Charlie Banana!

Posted by Gaelle Wizenberg on

Counting our daily blessings is a must in our family. Today we are grateful for this day when we gather together in our family home.

This year more than any other year, I feel grateful to have a Roof over my head, to have my family pictures still hanging, and in general to have a family, to have a strong business, to have friends and our community.

As many of you may know, our Head Office is in Hong Kong, but I live in-between Hong Kong and California. Currently 80% of my neighbors in California have had their houses burnt down. By share luck our home was spared and my children’s school is still standing. We feel so blessed to have a home to go to, but at the same time it is so hard to see our friends’ homes turned to ashes. It is difficult to know, where to start helping, when everything is needed...

My heart goes to all of you, who have lost your home in the recent California fires.

At Winc Design we thrive to change the world - to inspire people to switch to reusable products. When we see such fires and natural disasters getting wilder each year and more devastating world-wide, it reminds us why we strive to make better products and promote zero-waste living.  – So that we can win against the clock and save our eco system and our planet.

Let’s choose reusable products, let's do the right thing and change the world together!

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.

Xo,

Gaëlle Wizenberg and Charlie Banana Team
